What do you know about me?
Your email address, because Google told us when you signed in, and nothing else about your
Google account — not your name, not your photo, not your contacts. The sign-in asks for the
email scope on its own.
What do you keep about the things I ask about?
The words you typed, the price you typed, and a link if you pasted one. Then, per item, five numbers describing today's market: how many comparable listings were found, the lowest, the lower quartile, the midpoint, the upper quartile and the highest. Plus the current finding and the one before it.
Do you keep the Etsy listings you compared against?
No. Not one. They are fetched, reduced to those five numbers, and dropped. There is no table of listings here to leak or to sell.
Do you keep a price history?
No, and this is deliberate rather than an oversight. Today's five numbers overwrite yesterday's. Nothing accumulates. The only thing carried over from the previous day is a single word — the previous finding — kept for exactly one reason: to tell an improvement apart from a rating that has been the same for a month. Etsy's API terms limit how long listing data may be held, and the simplest way to comply is to hold none.
Is there any tracking?
No analytics, no advertising, no third-party anything. There is no JavaScript on
this site at all, from us or from anyone else. The pages are HTML and forms. You
can check: the site sends a script-src 'none' policy, which means a browser
would refuse to run a script even if one appeared.
What about cookies?
One, named s, holding your user id and a token that stops other sites
submitting forms as you. It is signed so it cannot be edited, and marked
HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. A second one exists for ten minutes
during sign-in and then expires. Neither follows you anywhere.
Who else sees any of this?
Nobody. It is not sold, rented or shared. Three companies are unavoidably involved in the mechanics: Cloudflare hosts it and sends the email, Google handled your sign-in because you chose to sign in with Google, and Etsy receives the search words needed to find comparable listings. That is the complete list.
How do I get rid of it all?
Your account page has one button that erases your email address and every question you have open, immediately. Nothing is archived, and there is no thirty-day grace period during which it still exists somewhere. Individual items can be removed one at a time from their own page.
