worthit

A lower price is not the same as a fair one.

You are looking at something handmade and you cannot tell whether the price is reasonable. worthit writes you a short note about it, and then keeps writing one every day, because the answer changes even when the price does not.

What one of those notes looks like:

speckled stoneware mug

asking $54.00

Comparable listings run from $22.00 to $130.00. The middle half of them sit between $38.50 and $61.00, with a midpoint of $47.00, across 41 listings. At $54.00, this one is inside the usual range.

$54.00 $22.00 $130.00

Checked against the market on 2026-07-28. It was above the usual range in June, which is what prompted the note.

That last line is the point. Nobody dropped the price. Four more potters listed similar mugs and the middle of the market moved up around it. A price alert would have had nothing to say; this had something worth saying.
